Calling all Private & NDIS participants who love the outdoors and want to build valuable life skills! We're thrilled to offer our exciting Fishing Program, designed to provide a fun and therapeutic experience while promoting capacity building in a supportive environment. We journey to all different areas to find different species of fish, from the rivers, to the lake to even going in the boat!

IMPROVE MOTOR SKILLS

Casting, reeling, and baiting a hook all require hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and upper body strength. Our program helps participants practice these skills in a relaxed and enjoyable way.

This program is specifically designed to help NDIS participants meet a variety of goals outlined in their NDIS plans, including:

We have a tailored a specific fishing program to bring the best out of our participants. From finding a suitable location, to tying and rigging tackle and gear, to winding in a catch, participants do it all in a supportive environment.

Our fishing program offers accessible, hands-on lessons in tying knots and setting up tackle, specifically designed to support participants of all abilities.

2. catching fish

Our fishing program ensures that participants of all abilities can experience the joy and excitement of catching fish, with personalized guidance and support.

3. learning to care for a catch

Our fishing program teaches participants how to properly care for fish after catching, whether they choose to keep or release them, ensuring a respectful and responsible approach to the sport.
